Nadia’s Vessel

Nadia's Yard

A sea farer's respite on summer evenings

Hail the Captain’s Cabin
Safely anchored shore enough
Crack a couple of bottle tops
Waves in here are rarely rough

No need to splice the main brace
Relax undo your knots
Still the lantern, sit you down
Glide away enjoy some tots

We can ‘yo ho  ho’  the early hours
Hang out no 'woe betides'
Plain sailing cast adrift in peace
Until the ‘Time Out’ bell decides

Written for Nadia and her garden ship
A Ropey Rhyme by Cliff Letts ‘
